SOOOOOO … Fashion week has come and gone and it was bloody great! For those of you who follow me on Instagram, know that it was absolutely amazing. I mean if you’re into everything fashion you would know it’s all changing, the shows, the way clothes are being sold, pretty much everything! A new season means new trends, new collections and loads of new pics for the gram!
The one thing I noticed this season at fashion week is that it’s all chilled out a bit, and although a few of the big designers have dropped out of London Fashion Week Men’s (LFWM), the fact that its not as crazy and disorganised makes it a whole lot more enjoyable.
Although I was pretty much running around like a headless chicken to all the shows, fashion week truly does open your eyes. It just shows you how much more you can grow as a blogger and gives you that presence of being part of the industry. I was lucky enough to be sponsored by a few brands (shout out to Moss Bros and New Look) who took care of me over the weekend. However, by the 3rd day I was ready for some comfort!!
I had worn all my tailored pieces, and was ready for something a bit casual but ‘fashiony’, at the same time! So I went for some subtle layering. Easy, quick and comfy. To be honest, it just makes you look like you know what you’re doing without trying too hard. The trick is to look good, but keep warm at the same time. I usually go for a longline/scooped t-shirt followed by a plaited shirt, then a bomber or denim jacket on top. It’s just such an easy and stylish look to carry. I recently got gifted this t-shirt for Christmas which I LOVEEEE!! I’ve always been a fan of Hollister since the teen days and recently they have really up’d their game !!
What do you guys think of this look ? Let me know !!
